Nightfall by Bridalstar / our new collection with Bold Black dresses!

Spread the love

Goth Weddings are the next big Bridal trend according to Elle magazine, Wedding forward and us!

One of the biggest new bridaltrends of 2023 is the ‘Goth Bride’ trend. As the gothic and punk trends are reemerging in pop-culture and fashion the bridal industry always has been a bit reluctant to follow until this year. Bold black dresses are the new thing, and we are here for the drama! Mesmerizing black with hypnotic white laces, sequences, sheer fabrics and different dress shapes. The Goth bride trend is a fantastic alternative to wearing a white or ivory wedding dress and is certain to make a statement at your wedding.

Under the influence of this year’s hottest couple Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Baker, this trend has been accepted by a larger public. Romance is taking a turn to the dark side with their romantic darkly themed wedding. Black glossy nails, black wedding cakes and dark bouquets there is a lot to choose from with this trend.

Let’s not forget the nostalgia on popular social media platform tiktok. Content from series like sex and the city, buffy, charmed, and movies like Thirteen and the Craft are taking over this platform. The raw, mysterious seductive energy from Buffy, Charmed, Thirteen and the craft are intoxicating and lure us to the dark side.  From cross accessories, till shiny black materials and heavy smokey black eyes this trend taps into our dark and sinful side. British vogue already did a whole piece on the craft movie and how it altered or fashion during the 90ies, and we can’t agree more. The dark accessories and vibe on the movie is super catchy and we are liking the taste of it! On a side note did you know that Sarah Jessica Parker famous from the popular tv show sex and the city also married in black?

Anyway enough inspiration to lure us over to the dark side! That is why this year we at Bridalstar are launching a complete collection of dresses suitable for this ‘gothic’ bride trend! You might not feel triggered by the name gothic bride, but actually this trend is great for all women that want to wear something different and edgy.

Our new collection ‘Nightfall’ is for the brides that dream of mysterious magical nights, where the sun never comes up and the stars and moon are shining bright in the sky. It’s for the bride that is waiting for her own magical fantasy story line to evolve. Cloaked in black and decorated with sparkly tulle, or branches of ivory lace you will not be an average princess, no you will be a queen of hearts.

Our new collection ‘Nightfall’ is inspired on female villains from movies and allow you to channel your dark and mischievous side. We are talking about black wedding dresses, deep red gowns and combinations of different materials and colors that have in common that the colors are dark and mysterious. Inspired by Cruella, Maleficent and other strong stunning  female characters these gowns made of tulle, lace and mesmerizing sequences aim to shock and awe.

Bridalstar would not be Bridalstar, if we did not include plus-size wedding dresses in this trend as well. We are talking about stunning a-line shapes with romantic off-shoulders sleeves but also the big ball gowns with impeccable fit where we are so famous for! We dipped our most popular dresses like Elegance, Becky and Honeyflower in the magic cauldron and developed our most daring and special collection until now. Don’t be scared,  you are going to love this. Several designs sport stunning sleeves in all different kinds of shapes like puff-sleeves or butterfly sleeves. We even have a mermaid dress in black, with a detachable cape. All our dresses can be ordered in Ivory as well, but why would we??
